In the truest sense of a solo outing, Mark wrote all of the songs and played all of the instruments with a little backing vocal help from his talented friend Rainy Kimbrough. His son Benton Nesmith engineered and mixed the album in Tuscaloosa, AL and we shared production duties. "A Sinner's Prayer" was selected as the 2024 Best Self-Produced CD by the Houston Blues Society and made the Big Blues Chart in the USA and Canada and the Roots Music Reports charts for Blues, Delta Blues, and Texas Albums.
